Every year the team at RESTED set off into the world of bed linens to search for that which is exemplary. In 2018 we found a niche weaving house, specialised in the production of finest jacquard woven cottons for the high end fashion industry. Quite simply the quality and feel of the jacquard sateen was like nothing we had ever felt before. The softness, smoothness, and sheen of the sateen fabric perfectly combined with the crisp coolness and performance of cotton.
Our request; to produce a special edition bed linen set exclusively for RESTED using their master expertise in jacquard cotton weaving. The 'Dark' edition colouring and design was selected as a reflection of the true colour of the nighttime sky. Adorned with the subtle geometric triangulations reminiscent of the patterns of the stars. Neither bold enough to be dominant, nor plain enough to be non descript. The end result is a shimmering effect, inviting you in, and adding intrigue to the appearance of your bedroom.
Our specification at RESTED is always for 60 degree washable bed linens so that they can be maintained to the highest level of hygiene if required. Also to provide concealed zippered entry of the highest quality for your duvet. Making the 'chore' of placing a duvet so much easier. The principle of comfort luxury for us at RESTED is to generate the softest most silken like feel for heavenly, frictionless movement against your body. Yet to do so with a fine cotton rather than a silk itself is always the challenge, and where 'Dark' truly succeeds.
