  • Snug and comforting, like a warm embrace.
  • Hypoallergenic.
  • Washable at up to 60 C°.
  • Environmentally friendly.

Auping as a company are highly focussed on the sustainability of production, and in creating products that serve their customers and environment in the best possible fashion. Hence the use of 'recycled' Dacrib Eco fibers in the Dew Duvet is part of their commitment to that.

The brand name Dacron guarantees high-quality polyester fibres that are specifically developed for use in duvets and pillows. The Eco2 label indicates that the fibres are made from recycled PET bottles.

'Dew' is available in two weights. Spring/Fall (375 g/m2), Summer (150 g/m2), and they can be combined together as a 'Four seasons' solution utilising simple button fasteners (included). Whilst rated by fill weight as a European product, this is broadly equivalent to tog ratings Spring/Fall 9 Tog, Summer 4 Tog, Four Seasons Combined (13.5 tog).

'Dew' is a great entry level duvet with great environmental and hygiene credentials. Warm, breathable and comforting, it is an all round performer in its different weights.

Sleeping with 'Dew'

This Auping Dew duvet is filled with recycled Dacron Eco 2 polyester fibers, which make for an excellent filling that can be recycled over and over again.
Auping Dew duvets are made from recycled polyester (PET) bottles that are melted into fine granules. These granules are the basis for the high quality yarns we use for our synthetic duvets. The entire production process is done locally, here in the Netherlands for Royal Auping. Accordingly the Dew duvet is fully certified as a recycled product with GRS-certified - the internationally recognised certification for recycled quality.
Thanks to the Dacron outer cover, Dew has a uniquely soft and comforting feel. The Dew duvet is relatively voluminous and snug, an overall feel which is highly appreciated in the hands of our customers.
We thoroughly recommend the Auping Dew duvet to customers looking for a 'soft touch' duvet of great performance, and most importantly that has impeccable hygiene/washing credentials. If you are looking for a duvet that you can regularly wash at 60 degrees then Dew is the one for you.

Sleep Engineering doesn't have to be overly technical. When considering our quilt ranges, standard UK 'tog' measures are largely inappopriate as most of our quilts are temperature regulating and therefore can not be classified with 'tog'. Our quilts react to you and your body temperature. So we try and keep things simple. Summer soft means that the quilt is lightweight and suitable for those that sleep in consistent temperature environments year round (i.e you use the heating in the winter). Our 'winter warmth' ranges are heavier, warmer, and suitable for the coldest months, and anyone who would naturally say that they require a high level of warmth from their quilt. In practice, the choise is easy and self evident, particulary in person at the Rested Experience.
