RESTED ANNOUNCE COLUNEX RANGE

In conjunction with the new RESTED showroom opening at the Chelsea Design Centre, we are proud to announce a significant expansion of our range with the prestige European brand, Colunex. 

Over the last five years we have built a long standing friendship with Colunex based on our mutual passion for provision of the finest beds and mattresses in the world. At RESTED we have already built a loyal following for contemporary and minimalist bedroom design. Our engagement with Colunex now enhances our range with a second design philosophy.

Luxury upholstered aesthetics and bespoke project work.

Since 1986 Colunex have established themselves as master artisan bedmakers.  Every year they are able to present a constantly evolving catalogue of unique headboard designs, coupled with highly engineered performance beds and mattresses. 

At RESTED we have always made the point that not all beds (or mattresses) are born equal, nor manufactured as such. It takes skill, attention to detail and complete control of componentry and workmanship to achieve perfection. Colunex have boldly built their reputation by doing everything themselves. Their state of the art facility combines woodwork, metal work, weaving, upholstering, and even spring and foam production facilities in one location so that every item of a Colunex bed is produced in-house to a standard and specification to exceed others.  They remain fundamentally an artisan 'handmade' facility, employing highly skilled workers and significant man hours for the production of every bed. Yet Colunex are progressive; using the latest materials and techniques that are focussed on sleep performance to achieve aesthetic and technical perfection in every sense. 

Colunex provide their bespoke creations to many of the worlds most prestigious hotels, and they are also a firm favourite with interior designers due to their bespoke capabilities  For RESTED it is particularly fitting that at the Chelsea Design Centre, the home of many of the world's most famous fabric houses, we will now be able to offer beds produced in any fabric selected by our customers. 

We are also particularly excited to add to our mattress collection, the unique 'Chandon' natural mattress. A combination of silk, linen, merino, and bamboo fibres.
